The manual KYC process for opening new accounts at the bank was inefficient and time-consuming. The challenges faced by bank employees included:
- Adhaar and PAN Linking: When initiating the KYC process, employees often discovered that the customer’s Adhaar was not linked to PAN, requiring an additional step to link them, further delaying the process.
- Photocopies of Documents: Customers were required to submit photocopies of documents, which made real-time verification impossible and contributed to delays.
- Multiple Verifications: Several verification processes, such as CIN, GST, Driving License, and Food License, were time-consuming and added complexity to the KYC process.
- The overall manual process was cumbersome, inefficient, and prone to delays, leading to a poor customer experience and significant operational inefficiencies.

We developed a digitized portal to streamline and automate the KYC process, eliminating manual steps and speeding up verifications:
- Real-Time Document Scanning: The portal allows for immediate scanning and verification of documents, eliminating the need for photocopies and enabling real-time verification of customer information.
- Aadhaar-PAN Linking: The portal integrated Aadhaar-PAN linking, automatically checking if the two are linked and processing them seamlessly.
- Automated Verifications: The portal automated key verifications such as CIN, GST, Driving License, and Food License checks, reducing manual input and speeding up the process.
- User-Friendly Interface: The portal was designed to be intuitive, enabling bank employees to easily manage the KYC process and ensuring smooth customer onboarding.
